Signing in
Choose Sign in with Google and pick the Gmail or Google Workspace account you want to use. Google then asks you to allow Mills Super Mail to read, send and organize your email. The app needs that access to work as your email app.
While Google is still reviewing Mills Super Mail, its sign-in page may say that Google has not verified the app. Choose Advanced, then continue to Mills Super Mail.
To add more accounts, open Settings and choose Add Gmail account under Accounts. To use your accounts on your phone without signing in again, open Settings on your computer, choose Link a phone, and enter the code on your phone.
Read receipts
When read receipts are on for an email you send, it carries a tiny invisible image. When the recipient's mail app loads that image, you see that the email was opened.
- Some mail apps, including Apple Mail with Mail Privacy Protection, load images automatically. That can show an open before anyone has read the email. Mills Super Mail labels these opens as coming from a privacy proxy.
- If the recipient's mail app blocks images, no open is recorded even if they read the email.
- Viewing your own sent emails in Mills Super Mail does not count as an open.
- An email sent to several people has one receipt, so you see that it was opened, not which recipient opened it.
You can turn read receipts off for a single email in the compose window, or choose the default for new emails in Settings, under Read receipts.
Alerts on iPhone and Mac
- iPhone: allow notifications when the app asks. If you said no, open the iPhone Settings app, tap Notifications, then Mills Mail, and turn on Allow Notifications.
- Mac: alerts appear while the Mills Mail app is open. To change them, open System Settings, then Notifications, then Mills Mail.
- Choose which accounts send new-mail alerts in Settings, under New mail alerts. Promotions, Social, Updates and Forums mail never sends an alert.
Your plan
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial, with no payment details needed. To see or change your plan, or to cancel, sign in at app.millssupermail.com on a computer and open Settings, then Plan. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Deleting your account
Open Settings and choose Delete account at the bottom. This permanently erases what Mills Super Mail stores about you, cancels any subscription, and removes its access to your Google accounts. Your email itself stays in Gmail. You can also remove Mills Super Mail's access at any time from your Google Account, under Security, in your connections to third-party apps and services.
Your data
Mills Super Mail does not sell your data or use your email for advertising. Read the full privacy policy and terms of service.
